Project summary
Carman Contracting delivered a refurbishment programme at Havant Justice Centre, replacing six roofs with Alumasc’s carbon-neutral Derbigum system, installing new insulation, and adding a roof-mounted solar PV system generating 46,500 kWh annually. Additional works included new suspended ceilings, upgraded lighting, ventilation, air conditioning, and rooftop safety solutions. The project was carefully phased to minimise disruption, including weekend and evening work followed by a six-week centre closure for internal works.
