Carman delivers CCTV and security upgrade at Cambridge Business Park

Carman Contracting has completed a security installation project at the Crown Estate’s Cambridge Business Park for long-standing client, Pullman Contracting.

Situated at the heart of the city’s northern cluster – a hub for science, research, and development – the business park is home to leading organisations in life sciences, health, and deep tech.  Over a 12-week programme, our team installed new lighting, CCTV cameras and two access barriers across the site. The project also included digging trenches, excavating existing groundwork, and installing a new electrical supply.

“Working in a live environment was challenging as the business park remained fully operational throughout, so we had to minimise disruption for occupiers and visitors,” explained James Selwood, Director, Carman Contracting. “We carefully planned the works to avoid disrupting traffic flow or day-to-day operations.
