Carman Contracting is proud to sponsor Basingstoke RFC

We're proud to share some exciting news! Carman Contracting is supporting grassroots sport by entering into a sponsorship agreement with Basingstoke Rugby Football Club.

Hampshire Cup Champions 2025, Basingstoke RFC has been an integral part of the community for many years, giving men, women, boys and girls of all ages opportunities to get involved in rugby from its senior teams to its junior and youth sections. As part of our sponsorship package, we’re also sponsoring 1st XV regular Oscar Worsfold, a player who has come up through the ranks and been a core part of the club over the years.

The partnership also has a personal connection for Carman Contracting. Our Finance Director, Kevin Croombs, was Treasurer for Basingstoke RFC and has first-hand experience of the commitment required to develop a successful sports club.

“From my own experience, I know how much work goes on behind the scenes to keep a club like this running," Kevin said. “It means a great deal to be able to give something back through Carman Contracting, and we're looking forward to supporting the club both on and off the pitch."
